New Delhi. Polling is underway for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in the country. Voting is going on in 95 Lok Sabha seats in 12 states. Complaints of malfunctioning of EVMS have been lodged at several places during the polling. In Bihar, there has been a violent clashes in West Bengal. In Bihar, Banka is reported to have shot at two sides. While the vehicle of CPM candidate Mohammad Salim was attacked from Raiganj seat in Bengal. The police also launched Lathi charge and tear gas shells to control the mob. In Chopra, the clash between TMC and BJP workers created tension. The noisy activists ransacked the EVMS held at the polling booth. In addition, allegations of bogus voting have been made at Amroha in Uttar Pradesh. In Chhattisgarh, the election officer died of a heart attack during the polling.
