Libya's capital Tripoli is surrounded by rebels: Sushma Swaraj

Tripoli is capital of Libya, surrounded by rebels. The work of the people of Indian origin is being done to secure safe Tunisia, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that there is a complete view on the situation of the government.


Eight years ago, after the assassination of Col Muammar Gaddafi, a new crisis has arisen in the unstable Libya. The General ordered his troops to travel to Tripoli after the meeting of the General Secretary of the country, General Khalifa Huffar, met the UN General Secretary Antonio Guteras. Their armies have reached 50 kilometers from the capital, where the struggle continues.

General Huffar has announced that his campaign will continue till the end of terrorism, while Libya's global recognized government is currently working in the capital Tripoli. In the meantime, the work of keeping Indians safe in Tunisia continues.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that there is a fight in Tripoli. In a message on tweet, the External Affairs Minister said that the Indian Embassy in Tunisia has secured the entire troop of 15 CRPF personnel safe. I appreciate the excellent work of the Indian Embassy in Tunisia.
